Manufacturing Process Description

Today it is possible to construct almost any building using timber frame modules, as Nordic Home’s catalogue of projects demonstrates. The modular solution fits a wide range of building types –housing, student accommodation, offices, hotels, care homes and more. The technology can be combined with other forms of construction to build structures that can accommodate even tall buildings, at the same time gaining from an environmental perspective. The flexibility of timber modules also allows implementation of any solution or combinations of solutions to interior and exterior design. If a client requires a building to be in keeping with a historical environment, or to implement the most modern and latest designs, then timber modules  deliver. In addition, a building constructed using such modern methods of construction can be clad in whatever materials are required by client, architect, or local planners.

Nordic Homes’ module manufacturing takes place at ten work stations where a timber frame construction is turned into a completely finished module ready for transportation. Strict quality control is undertaken at each work station.
